On September 24, 2024, Moscow hosted the Russia-Gulf Business Forum: New Connections, New Opportunities, a central platform for exploring business prospects in the Gulf. The event highlighted new avenues for collaboration and showcased the commitment of key market players to deepen ties with one of the world’s fastest-growing regions.
Lidings, in partnership with ALC Lawyers and Counsels and UPPERCASE Legal Advisory, alongside legal experts from Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, played a leading role in the forum.
The forum attracted more than 100 participants, including C-suite executives, legal heads, government representatives, and diplomats, positioning it as a major milestone in advancing Russia-Arab business relations.
The agenda featured two key panels addressing critical legal and regulatory issues for doing business and investing in the Gulf, as well as dispute resolution strategies in Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. In addition to formal discussions, participants explored real-world investment opportunities and specific collaborative projects between Russian and Arab firms.
The next Russia-Arab Business Forum is set for April 2025 in Saudi Arabia, continuing the dialogue on enhancing cooperation in the region.
